Personal Work

I consider myself an artist and try to bring that vision into all areas of my commercial work.

Commercial work is a collaboration of the artist with others in the creative process.  Personal work, I also try and create images as often as I can “just for myself.”  When you remove the commercial element from the creative process you are liberated and free to create solely “from within”.

As an artist I have been photographing since I was twelve.  My personal work has always been almost exclusively in fine art black and white image creation.  My traditional wet darkroom, now supplemented by my computer darkroom has always been a part of my life.  While many photographers have discarded their film cameras and darkrooms (if they ever had one) I still work in that medium.

I invite you to view my work.

Thank you for letting me share my vision with you.
